Yogyakarta has only few well-reputed tourism or hospitality universities or academies and not all its graduates decide to find employment at hotels and restaurant in Yogyakarta. Some graduates decide to return to their hometown, join a hotel outside Yogyakarta, or join a cruise ship.
This situation creates opportunity for graduates or students of who take non-tourism major in university or academy.
An entrance key to a hotel industry is experience, both for entry level or higher level of employment. Even tourism university or academy require its students to undergo On the Job Training in a hotel for a period of semester to ensure the students posses working experiences in a real working world.
Considering the working opportunity in hotel due to its fast growth, and the needs of employee with sufficient experience in a hotel, Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa would like to invite students and graduates of non-tourism to grab the entrance key to the hotel industry, EXPERIENCE.

We open opportunity of On the Job Training for students or graduates from non-tourism to undergo the training program for 3 or 6 months in the department of FRONT OFFICE and ENGINEERING with a friendly and empowering atmosphere. The benefits students or graduate can earn from this program are as follows:
* This is a certified training program; trainees' performance during the program will be evaluated by his/her supervisor and we will issue a Certificate of Accomplishment accordingly.
* This program is FREE OF CHARGE; we provide trainees with uniform and lunch/ dinner at our Associate Dining Room (Canteen) for free to support their duty.
* Opportunity to be hired as an associate (employee); should there be a vacant position, we always reviews our trainees, trainee alumnus, and casual worker.
